This is the last carbon fiber pieces im getting for the car. Unless i can find carbon OEM side mirrors. Next I'm thinking about painting the rims a gloss black with a red lip. Then after i pass smog next year (damn California) all my money goes to the motor, and more weight reduction.

I've always like the CF hatch. Looks good.
Also, if you don't mind, what kind of headlights are those?

Weight reduction is good! Personally, I would at least paint the fenders body color... then paint the roof and mirrors black. That, I think would look really good.

If you want to show the bling factor of the carbon fenders, you could leave a portion showing through the paint. Perhaps a fender stripe like seen on a few domestics (Chargers, Camaros and Vettes)

What about CF doors? You would definitely save way more weight. Also...looks like you got a perfect fit for those fenders. Most of the ones I've seen tend to be slightly off...not so with yours. Looks good. :thumb:

Yea, i was thinking about carbon doors. But I still drive her around on my days off. If i was to get hit on the side, They would probably go strait threw my car LOL. I had the fenders custom made. Took a month to get them, but they fit really good.

How is the fitment of those fenders?
Also you need a cf fuel door, fog covers, rear diffuser or whatever that thing is, cf front bumper and doors, THEN your done. ;)

good luck on the rear lip/diffuser... im #3 on the group buy and still can't get a solid answer!

are you getting all these CF pieces from the ebay CF dealer down on the border in san ysidro? just wondering because all their example shots are of a sorano red car just like mine but all CF out like yours...
ive been checking ebay damn near everyday trying to find a CF turbo spoiler and CF tail light center piece and I know those guys make em!! im getting frustrated!

nice ride btw! can't have too much CF on a red car imo, it always looks good.

I agree. carbon on a red car is damn sexy. As for the pieces, VIS hood/trunk. The carbon wing, I got from Car Body Kits for Pontiac Mitsubishi Honda Mustang Acura etc Fenders where ordered from a shop. I'm good friends with the owner, so he wont sell me sh** The fenders match up perfect with the doors. The gap between the fenders and the hood is a little bigger then stock. But, it was that way when I had stock fenders to.

Honestly, I believe if you get hit directly on the side (drivers side), you're probably a goner anyhow.

And if you do get carbon fiber door handles...make sure you buy this kit

2G Eclipse, 2G Talon, Avenger, Sebring Door Handle Repair Kit

Somebody tried to break into my car (ON BASE) and broke my passenger side carbon fiber door handle.

The only problems ive ran into with my doors is:

1.) They retain a little bit of water at the bottom.
2.) The windows dont always line up correctly.

Other than that...they look hot and they've saved me a poop load of weight.
