2G Koyo radiator and slim fans?

Im in the market for a new radiator and am pretty set on the Koyo rad. Ive read the previous post about them but they are pretty outdated. The stock fan does slightly touch the j-pipe at the moment so the larger core is going to require a slim fan. Is anyone currently running this radiator and what size fans are you using? 16g turbo with ETS j-pipe and no a/c fan.

What's wrong with the stock cooling system? It's pretty efficient as-is.

Food for thought......I couldn't fit the OE rad fan with my I/C setup, so I removed the a/c lines and compressor but left the a/c fan in. So when at a stoplight, I just turn the hvac on which kicks on the a/c fan. Works fine.
