Edmonton,
There is a loud tapping noise coming from the engine. It sounds like its from the head. Engine was sounding like a chainsaw when I limped it home...

I removed each spark plug wire 1 at a time. Noise did not go away. Vacuume reading has not changed either...

Does it sound like a bad lifter or bearing??

Before this happened,
I was spraying MCCC in a vacuume line to clean the engine. After I was done I took the car out for a drive. It was driving perfect for about 5 minutes. There was no knock on the loger and I didn't boost once. Then at a red light I hear a tapping noise, I thought it was the car beside me... When it went green and I started to go, engine started sounding like chainsaw. 43 knock on logger  Under light throttle I can keep the knock under control, but if I put any load on engine 43 knock.

I just noticed the audio from the video is not that good. THe tapping noise is a little louder then what is heard.

2 on valve cover 2 in engine...

I removed a lifter from the rocker with the play in it. I then compared it to the lifter from a rocker with no play.

Lifter from rocker with play is noticible shorter. I guess its safe to say the lifters are screwed.

Is it posible for the valves to be damaged because of this?

Anybody know anything about collapsed lifers?
