It's no wonder the kit is cheaper than others, there are no metal bends, all silicone connectors....

yea well....

True, silicone connectors (at bends) are vernable to leaking at on the side of the bend where clamps are and also they cause some turbulance in the flow, but still thats one hell of a deal. IF you don't like the piping, get the IC and have custom piping fabbed.

By the way whats the diameter of the IC piping?

The piping is 2.5 inch. Just like the rest. Have you ever looked at the prices to buy these silicon bends?? Probley more ####in expensive then welding pipes. I priced them out. Some of them are about 70cnd, ajnd others are more expensive. There should be no problems with the bends.

yes i did not like the way the i/c piping is with all the silcone connectors. so i only bought the fmic i could not beat the price of $515 shipped from canada. i thought i would see a couple bad welds but the quality is top notch.

The silicone 90s and 45s ARE more expensive than SS ones, the reasoning behind using them was to help DIYers with car to car discrepancys. The soft bends allow for finer tuning of the pipes routing around CC/ABS/and various other obstacles. Sounded like a logical step to me anyway.

yes i do not blame the use of the connectors to keep price down, but i have access to a welder and some u bend and a chop saw. so i and my buddy will just fab up some i/c piping. plus my car is going to be wet up a little different.
