I have been working on rebuilding my engine for a few months now and I'm FINALLY just about to drop in, the internals are all stock except cams (272) and stiffer springs. Ill have 850's injectors and bigger fuel pump. I'm a little worried though, I had a lot of trouble trying to dial-in these injectors on my last motor, I do plan on taking it somewhere to help me tune it (on a dyno) but I just need some advice/tips to get it up and running around. I know the basics but I'm not really ready to make a safe tune for big power. Id really the appreciate help thanks!

Just going by your profile, im assuming youre tuning with link? Do you have anything else such as updated maf, afpr..? There is a writeup on here about setting a base tune on link. Ill try to find it for you.

Start with

baseinjectordata [ECMTuning - wiki]

Matter of fact if I remember correctly, on the ecmlink website theres actually a video that shows how to dial in the injectors and deadtime for base/idle

Yes I understand how to dial in.... Im just needing something to start up and break in my new motor. Is there like a base tune I can start off with or ... just wing it?

Fix any boost or exhaust leaks, go by the injector table that was posted and go break it in. Maybe pull a little fuel up top just for WOT purposes but otherwise that's it if you're going to break it in. You're making this harder for yourself than it has to be.

Yes download and use the evo maps given in the wiki site. And just make sure your fuel terms don't go past 8% either way.
