Congratulation. I see you found the Key!

I can wait to start my project (next sunday BTW) I have done all the support mods I can. And the car still knocking (because the carbon build up in the piston). Now I want to install new Pistons and let's see what else my wallet allow me. :Evil laugh:

Enjoy her! and hope to see you in Orlando Speed world some day.

hope your engine holds up. Just for future note a good rule of thumb is not to blast the cyl. head as the grit is extremely hard to remove; and should definately deck the surfaces of the block and cyl. head so you insure the gasket is getting a uniform press. Out of all the engines I've assembled the head to cyl. surfaces have never been completely flat and sanding the surface smooth really doesnt insure the job is done correctly. Other than that your build seems sound, nice job.

ok, my first time ever driving a car down the track , and only practiced a few times launchin with this new clutch , but heres my the times i put down!

im on left lane
<a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f224/mxdawg121/13.jpg" border="0" alt="Image hosting by Photobucket"></a>

12.8! sweet! 23 psi stock smic, stock fuel pump! 0 knock! 109 oxygenated fuel (turbo race gas), the 13.3 run i launched like flippin john shep , spun all 4 for a second,

the 12.8 run i almost let off the gas because the ass end was sliding back and forth , but both got a 1.8 60' times, i guess thats good, my first time ever :thumb:

i got a video, of it i will put it on here tommorrow, after i do my taxes woot! :rocks:

edit: 13.3 i missed 2nd gear and was only 20 psi.

AND THE INJECTOR PLUG CAME OFF INJECTOR NUMBER 4! I THOUGHT I BLEW IT UP! came off a little before the finish so i might have even gotten a better time,

come on! out of all the people that were following my thread only 1 person says good job? 12.8 ! my first time ever driving a car down the track! wait until you see the video , i think it looks great LOL..

Sorry Man. Been Busy spring break is taking over my town!
CONGRATULATION!!!!!!!!
Great Job I wish I can do that after my car is Done (hopefully by next month is done!)

PS: I want to see the video as well!

video is coming, ill give it to you raw ( no editing or music) itll take less time, maybe tommorrow, my friend has the cable to put it on the computer so he is doing it for me, sorry he is a very slow worker. :p but its coming.

^^^I second that^^^ 12.8 is great. Gotta love the lifter tick on our cars. Mine rattled bad for the first day I had it running but they eventually built up and now she purrs like a pissed off DSM should.

UPDATE: ok , a couple of good things a couple of bad things, i got a new best time of 12.3@110, but, im on my 2nd ebay clutch the 1st one was a little smoked when i took my transmission out for an overhaul. and the pacesetter manifold, guess what, cracked all to hell on me, just the welds around the #4 runner connecting to the collector damn ebay

although both are fully warrantied.

Sweet vid. Good to see a rebuild go according to plan. :) Wish mine does too ...

Wow I just had de ja vu (or however you say it) bad by just watching that video. Do you own a shop or something ive seen that engine somewhere and i feel like ive bought something from you before. I remember laughing histerically like a few months ago somewhere from reading that sign "I eat hondas and shit vtecs".
