Just ordered leds to do my interior blue but a couple questions

well I am gunna attempt to do all my interior lights in blue.

#1:where are you guys placing the ones for the gauge cluster?
#2:how should I go about doing the dome light's with LED's?

#2: You could try soldering the LEDs to the leads for the bulbs, but that may be tricky. Make sure you know which side is positive and negative.

Edit: Sorry, didn't notice you were 1g. Your gauge cluster is probably a slightly different deal than the 2g.

hey how did u sauder then in the gauge cluster? is 1g gauge cluster made diff than a 2g? what I mean do the bulbs turn and come out with a plastic piece attached to it?

I'll be getting some fresh blue and white leds' in a day of two. If I can I'll take some pictures and post them up. Haven't had the gauge cluster off yet, but I'll figure it out when I come to that.

that would be sweet if u would do that. i got everything here to do it just dont know how to sauder them in the gauge cluster. are you doing the hvac and all the other light's also?

I plan on doing pretty much everything in the car, though it may take a while. I'm going to do everything in the dash blue and replace all the regular lights with pc board mounted white clusters. If you don't mind waiting a bit I should be able to get you some decent info.

I bought my Blue LED Dome lights for my 2G from www.superbrightleds.com

Click on this link http://www.superbrightleds.com/1157.htm and scroll down. I bought 36 x 10 mm Festoon base with 4 LEDs for my 2G and they are very bright.

i dont mind waiting a while. as far as the interior lights i am pretty sure their's a difference in the 2g's and 1g's. i got the part number's for the 2g's and i took one of my dome light's into advance and the part number I had the bulb was to big.
