I went ahead and rotated the compressor housing and gave it a little pollish while it was out. I should get the fmic next week sometime.

I got my mandrel bent pipes from jegs. You can buy full j-pipe and ubends from them for like 15 bucks then cut them to fit. Also got silicone couplers from HTS high temp silicone on ebay.
Also if you need straight pieces( for behind radiator) then go to pep boys and get a 3 ft piece of exhaust pipe. its really cheap.

The entire FMIC is 30 inches long form outside of endtank to outside of endtank and 8 inches tall. the core is 2 3/4 and the endtanks are 3.

I found this intercooler on ebay for $195 buy it now. Notice the internal fins and how unrestrictive they are. size of the core varies, but I liked the 28x9.5x2.75. What do you guys think?

Has anyone mounted the 8.5 tall (the original one started about) on a 1g without cutting or removing the bumper? Thought largest was 7" without mods, but not sure if someone can make it work.
