What happened to the car today? We saw it being towed off but didn't see what had happened.

Which one :(

Jeffs Drag car lost the T-case in the burn out box. (easy fix but lame time to break it)

The stock motor in my little 16g car finally let go. Guess I have been talking up how relabel it is to much. Had around 60 10.7-11.0 passes and I guess thats all the 150k+ motor wanted to take.

Had an amazing time though. Was happy that Jeffs car ran in the 9s all day with no major carnage and I atleast got a 10.9 out of the 16g car so every one could see it for them self.

Ugh I'm so mad I couldn't go with you guys to this one. I had so much fun going to Sacramento with you.

Oh well...

Oh and here is a pic to put this trip into perspective for everyone. I don't think this is the exact route they are taking, but it's still an insanely long way!

LOL an oil change trip. Ive made one of those in my day, Maine to California. Gosh.
then on my way back to Maine i stopped in at Michigan because I was too lazy to make the rest of the trip, jsut picked a spot here and camped out! HA!

I didn't get a chance to say bye to jeff at the showdown but he is one stand up guy and anyone that had a chance to talk with him will tell you the same. It's a dam shame he broke because he would have made it to the final they way he was running. Millan got a break on that one.

Cant you just use the E-brake or some sort of line lock to get your flex palte spinnin at the line without your rear wheels blowin in the wind? Or will wleding the ctr diff. correct it?

Well that is a older vid. The car does have a welded diff now and has ran a 10.6

Well we got home this morning right at 6am. Pretty amazing we left last wed at 6am and got home to the same spot right at 6am this wed:) We drove just over 6000mi round trip and burned through 600gal of Diesel.

Sorry to hear your engine gave out lucas. I was the guy with the red 2gb gsx that you spanked in the first race in the DSM HU category :D It was nice meeting you guys and hope to see you next year!

Jordan

Edit- I have alot of pictures of the 1g you were driving if you want pictures, just shoot me your email addy.

Jordan, you had a clean car, I was impressed. I did get footage of that race for Lucas, we'll see what he has to post up within the next few days Im sure.

Thanks man. I was kind of embarrassed to bring it out. I had literally rigged some things up just to get it to the show, I had even started it for the first time 2 days prior after a long build. And not to mention she was filthy :(

So I know its way late on this and I almost dont feel like its worth posting but here goes.

We had an amazing trip down and back with no truck or trailer problems. Tooks us 45hr to go the 2900mi there and about 46hr to do the 2900miles back. With 4 of us taking turns driving and sleeping.

Taking 90 through MT and South Dakota was much nicer then hwy 80 through Salt Lake, Wyoming. 80 is ugly, lots of construction and just a crappy road.

The Event was awesome with having so many fast mitsus in one place at one time. The people at the Event were gret also helping each other so we can all run fast no crap talking. Felt like we were all one team showing the people how fast mitsubishi can be.
