1g non turbo.
Will the ISC with pigtail work to replace the one with the plug on it?

Never seen one with that pigtail before. Test the resistance on the coils before you install it, all dsm's have the same idle air control valve. Make sure yours with the pig tail meets factory specs before you install it

ISC from the early 90s...TPS had pigtails as well...
 
Will an ISC from a turbo work on an N/A?
After some searches, some folks say they are different, others say they are interchangeable, and others even say they are the same.
The parts look identical. I even saw one on eBay that had the same PN printed on it as the one I took out, but was listed for a turbo. Other sellers have them and say they will work on turbo and non-turbo.

So, are they the same?
 
I cant say for sure but if both are non turbo they look identical to mine that where turbo. I would just buy a black isc from rock auto the pigtail one is a 90 style and the brown is the I In between one. The pigtail one is metal as I said before not plug and play if you had the brown one originaly just buy the revised black one.
