Is your rear wiper not working on 1g dsm???

I recently picked up a 1992 talon awd. I've been attacking it day in and day out when I have free time. The rear wiper, and defrost weren't working. It only have .04 volts to the defrost, but did have power to the wiper motor. So I put power to the motor, and luckily it worked. But, wasn't working when plugged in. I gave up as I am not great when it comes to diagnosing electrical issue. Basic at best. Luckily, when I was putting the panel back on, I saw the ground wire on the p/s didn't look to be in the greatest shape. I decided to clean the ground connectors, and both tabs on the defrost. I got lucky and they're both working normally. Hope this helps someone, and they get me off this probationary member status for whatever that means.
