I know it's not a name brand company or anything, but when you do buy stuff like Fidanza, and ACt the extra money it does cost, your really only paying for the name, most of the time, this is going on a 93 Talon TSI AWD, just wanna know if it's a good buy? I drive alot, and commute on a daily basis, so I tend to kind of have a heavy foot as times, and my Talon has a tid bit of mods, so I wanted to get something pretty strong that would last long, because i'm pretty sure if I got a OEM clutch i'd burn it up real quick!

honestly when it comes to things like my drivetrain and things like that i always go with the saying "you get what you pay for", i personally have never tried it, so if you do let us know how it turns out.

I would say no. Says nothing about if the flywheel is balanced or not. Disc is a 6 puck and they are pretty harsh engaging. Doesn't specify a holding pressure although it does a hp and torque capacity. For the price I would be kinda leary about getting it. Might be good might not. Any if you are going to be any kind of modding, it would be pretty easy to max that clutch's HP out. Couple slips of the clutch and you will need a new one. Pay for what you get though.

Yeah exactly what ^^^ said. You get what you pay for, I would got with an act or exedy or an sbr because they will go the extra distance to help you out, and if something is wrong with it they will fix it at no price, so I would do with a name brand, and not some clutch off of ebay. And also like ^^^ said the 6 puck is pretty harsh of an engage, more of a track disk.

When it comes to driveline parts, I use whats tried and true. Act is always a good clutch, I prefer sbr 3500. Just me though. Its up to you if you wanna buy it and try it.

how much power can a stock clutch hold, my car only has 3inch turboback, and a air filter/with hack MAF and a small 16g I don't really plan on doing any more mods to it, just a boost controller!

I got one really simular to that. It was the XTD kits that come with the light flywheel and 6 puck stage 3 clutch and pressure plate. Works great, no problems and seemed to hold up really well on a car that had a 16g, full exhaust, MBC, complete intake (I/C piping), 65mm TB, and a few other mods.

you're fine. keep the stock clutch. as long as you dont just sit there and roast the clutch it will hold up with your mods. a stock clutch can support a 12 second car :thumb:

Not all 6 pucks are harsh engaging clutches. I had a CS Stage 3 clutch with upgraded PP in my Impulse RS (AWD) and the only time you could even tell it was a puck was when in reverse...for normal daily driving it felt like a brand new factory clutch.
