Long story short over boosted my 16g and lifted my head. I have my car apart gettin ready to start building my top end and im gonna leave the bottom end stock. Gonna order felpro headgasket, arp headstuds, 272 272 cams, maybe upgrade valves and lifters but not sure if i should or not. Already took my 16g would like to get the journal bearing pte 6262 and maybe keep boost levels low on it. Also im running e85 and fic 1050s. Im just curious if im goin with too big of a turbo, realisticly id like to make around 550-600 hp, low 7 1/8th mile et.

Your going need more then that. I have seen stock 7 bolt's make 500hp but why risk it if you don't have the money if it blows. Might as well build it. But ya for rebuilding your head right now that is fine make sure you upgrade springs if going with 272 cams. Your going to need bigger injectors on e85 if your going for 500whp bigger fuel pump setup and alot more. Try look into peoples build threads you can see what kinda mods they have for 500-600hp. But anyways good luck.

The T3 6262 would take you to 500+hp, but as clipto said: Youre going to need a whole lot to sustain that power. Dual pumps and much larger injectors. The bottom end wont hold up long either. It is best to save up and do it all at once, IMO. But good luck to ya.

e85 flows about 30% more fuel which is why you need a much larger fuel setup. As stated you need upgraded springs for the bigger cams, and the bottom end can handle 500whp but probably not for long (really depends on how you drive) Im going to be running a pte 6266 this year on e85, but my fuel setup consists of dual inline walbro 255 pumps with fic 2150s. I also use the felpro gasket on my block. I like it because its like a fuse, Id rather have my hg blow then destroy a motor. Cams and a turbo wont make your power unless you have something powering it. just my two cents. You'll definitely need that larger fuel setup, and might as well build a motor before you go too big on your support mods
