i need a clutch, and im not going to be modding anymore (power wise) because i go to business school in 2 months.. well i was wondering since my clutch is gone, if this exedy clutch was a good alternative for me. than ks in advance for your wisdom and input.

Exedy's are usually OEM replacements. They should be fine for normal driving but don't abuse the car cause it will go on you. If you have even a little mod, I'd suggest you get the ACT2100. Good for drag and streets.

i dont do much raggin on my clutch, the last one was put in at 60k, and it was a stock oem replacement by eagle.. and now i have 71k miles.

If everything was installed right and it went out in 11K with mild driving, you know you should get something that can handle your current power. Just play it safe man...

With upped power, a stock-grip clutch will slip long before it wears out. If the money's that much a consideration, just don't get on it in higher gears. It won't hold.

thanks for your imput guys. i was just looking for a less expensive alternative than buying lets say a act 2100, plus people have been saying oh well if you get that kind of clutch your putting more stress directly to the tranny instead of thrpugh the clutch, and therefor breaking stuff easierin the tranny (gears). i have about 2 days to decide beofre i HAVE to do something, my clutch is getting so bad that every time i chift gears like at mild rpm (4k) it like dumps into the gear when im letting it out, like its not een holding. thanks again guys.

Your not going to abuse your car by using an act2100.
I say a 2100 if you want a really good clutch and don't mind spending the extra cash.

i personally would recomend the act 2600 if your in there you might as well do it because everyone i know that says they don't want any more power always changes their mind.

but i would say got with at least the 2100. i love my 2600 though and if i owned any other five speed(even a stock civic) i would put one in because i love the way the peddle feels
