So I have a 14b turbo, but I kept the 16g hotside because the flow was much greater. However, on the oem 14b hotside the flapper pin thing dont move in and out freely. My 16g hotside does (in and out), thus resulting in not lining up the flapper closed over the hole 100% of the time. Heres a pic of my 14b on the 16g hotside. Also the 14b WG dont fit on this setup. I dont know why. Its hitting up against the hotisde and the compressor housing

for those of you who are saying, yeah duh its suppose to move freely. Im talking about in and out from outside the turbo, not up and down on the flapper itself

That whole pin that the WG attaches to, moved 1/2 in and out. Im not talking about the flapper open and close.

The wastegate actuator is vacuum operated and should pull toward the vacuum nipple when vacuum is applied to it. The internal wastegate armature that it goes to should swing freely when not connected the actuator.

No the whole pin goes in and out......hmmmmm like pushes into yhe housing and pulls out. Im not talking about the arm swinging freely. Im talking about the part im pointing to.

Its sippose to move open and close freely, but in and out im sure. Maybe thats a major boost leak
