Made a smart choice!

Well, I have had a Pocket PC for awhile now. I have been living off of it. I hadn't used it in along time so I couldnt find the case for it. Well I guess it was at work yesterday I ran into something. I just noticed it today, I cracked the glass in the screen So, I am going to buy a Palm so next paycheck I can get pocketlogger! I figure I might as well get it now before I so any real modifications just to help me know what all is going on. Which palm should I get?

Get one that is within your budget and is on the list that pocket logger has on their site.

Pretty much all of those are outdated and aren't sold anymore. Except for the T3 which is over $300 at Staples.

I checked on ebay.. And wow... What does everyone think about a Handspring Visor Prism, and a GPS module for it?

Are you saying that the "approved" list on pocket logger is outdated?


If you use the Palm for other things then spend the money on a good one. My $30 Palm V was bought to log, and that is all it does.

I just bought a Tungsten T3 just this past week. If you are going to buy one, you may want to look on Palms webpage and buy it direct. Staples in NYC was selling it for 398.00 ($1 less then list). PalmOne.com is selling it for $349.00 PLUS you get a free 64mb memory stick with it. Shipping, the T3, 64mb expansion card, and Serial adapter cable came out to be $389.00

I searched for about a week... www.pricewatch.com, slickdeals.net, bestbuy, compusa, Micro Center, and general google searches. Palmone had the best price.

The T3 is a really nice unit.
