What would be a good turbo for this setup?

I am in the working of finish up my build but these mods will be on my car before I even mess with the turbo.

Rebuilt 6 bolt motor
Stage 4 unsprung xtd clutch
Kelford 272s
Kiggly springs and retainers
1200cc injectors w/e85
afpr (haven't picked which brand yet)
Spearco front mount
and dsm link v3 (maybe something else)

This car will be street driven and fully gutted (everything will be gone)

For those of you with the turbo knowledge/experience that I do not quiet have yet please give me your opinions on which setups I should be looking for. Also I am interested in a twin scroll setup as well so keep that in mind.

So far i've been looking in getting an fp3065, hx40, or a 35r.

Thanks to dsm-onster and 96awd for the previous help.

Unuse full thats a way to ask for help, i would go with a 16g for everyday driving a hx40 would be good too again when you post a thread your going to get answers you may or may not like.

It was ment because of people who post in the newbie forums with responses like "yeah that looks good" or just post to get their count up.

Any opinion is welcomed and i'm not trying to turn away any useful help.

I could've sworn I put it in there, guess not.

I'm going for low 11s maybe high 10s.

I could have a full interior and hit those goals with a 35r...
I'm pretty interested in the FP turbos though.

HA. If you're going to comment on this thread, please know what you're talking about as the OP says.

With your goal and shooting for that as you said, you can do that with the 35r. But you're also interested in the FP turbo. you either answered your own question, or narrowed it down. If you want to be "different" from other DSM's, go FP. As you know, many of us are using 35r's on our build. But on the other hand, a 30 second search of good ol' tuners, brought me to this conclusion. This is a review of FP3065 turbo and FP3575 turbo (don't think this turbo is sold anymore) but correct me if I'm wrong: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/art...d-performance-fp3065-fp3575-turbo-review.html

but with the FP, you will see slightly quicker spool times than you will with the 35r even though the 35r has been proven to make more power in the end. hope this helps.

I was just throwing that out there at a suggestion. I know I would make more power with a 35r but if I was fully gutted I'm pretty sure I could run a much quicker time without the need of such a massive turbo.

The only problem I have with the 35r is that it seems to be a little over kill for me. I want to be close to maxing out the turbo while hitting a high 10 and I'm sure there is a better turbo out there for me then that massive turbo that is the 35r.

+1 on the 35r. Great turbo with good spooling abilities.

A 35r with good spooling abilities? We must be talking about different turbos because the 35r takes forever to spool.

Depending on how serious you are about "gutting" your car, and the fuel you have available to you, a FP 68hta ***could*** meet your goals. What is the more important, spool speed or E.T.?
