Is my worn clutch ROBBING me power?

Okey, I have a fwd dsm that needs a clutch because it slips a lot and it grabs when it's reved up to 2kish. My question is, is it robbing me power because it use to run great a few months ago and know I feel it kind of slugish. It use to pull hard when the engine was cold but know I can't feel the pull. It's like driving an NA car. Please help!

YES YES YES!!!! a worn clutch will definitely "rob" you of power because you are no longer transferring the most power through the transmission to the ground. When clutches are slipping you are probably getting no more than 50% to the gound at it's best. And especially since turbo's rely on engine load to make boost you will see less boost and even more lag.

Short answer? Yes. When your clutch slips a lot of the power your engine makes is lost as heat. When the revs rise but you go nowhere, that means your clutch is shot.

If your RPMs rise quicker than your MPH then your clutch is slipping. Have you done any mods to it and is it a stock clutch?

I have an evo3 exhaust manifold and evo3 16g turbo and dejon intake sytem so far. I do feel it laggy like you guys are saying. What do you guys think of e-bay clutches? I don't have $400 dollars to pay for a good clutch and a friend of mine told me that ebay clutches are preety good because he saw someone install one in his miata and it worked good.

I forgot to tell you guys that it is the stock clutch. It might even be the original one that it came with.Do you guys know of any good clutch vendors?
