wondering, planning on doing a 2.3 6 bolt build with wiseco pistons. planning on having bored out 020, if i rebuild next year and pistons wore away cylinder walls, do i need to get rebored and new pistons. or can i get a bored and bigger rings.

id check the wear but really if u have no scared cylenders you should be able to get a way with a hone and the samw size rings if a machine shop is doing the work they can tell you weather to hone or bore. i ringed my motor last year it had 170,000 on it and i hone it mu self and put standard rings on the same pistons it still runs top noch with 180psi on all 4 cylenders and uses no oil.

There is no way for us to know. You have to check the piston to wall clearance and compare it to the specs of the pistons.

yes but can you buy bigger rings? to take up te exctra space if it has to be bored instead of buying new pistons

This whole cars thing is new to you, isn't it?

Yes, new bore sizes need new pistons. Rings don't "take up the space".
