Is my timing right this time?

I have been trying to get my base timing set right. This is my 4th attempt in 5 months and I want it to be right. The first picture is before timing belt tension was applied, the second was after tension was applied, and the final is the crankshaft. This was all done at tdc and I do not have balance shafts. Please let know if these look correct, thanks!

Have you tried turning it by hand? Is it just me or does it look like the dolly pins aren't straight up like they should? Or is it different for 1gs? Correct me if im wrong.

The bottom half looks good to me though.

Why isn't the oil pump lined up in the third picture if it's at TDC?

The balance shafts were removed so the oil pump wouldnt have to be timed with the engine.

Yes, the dowels are at the 12:00 position. The intake dowel is at 12:00 and the exhaust at maybe 12:10.
 
I knew it wasnt dolly pins ahaha.
Well if the dowels are at 12 then i say your good to go.

Awesome, it's been running like crap hopefully it will run like it should now. And I did rotate the crankshaft several times after tensioning the timing belt.

And to people of the future who have trouble making sure the inner camshaft timing marks are parallel with the head, unbold the front motor mount and jack the engine high enough to have line of sight between the two timing marks and the head. It's so much easier to set with two wrenches that way. Much better than guessing from any other angle like I had been doing.
 
Looks perfect. Make sure you measure the distance between the tensioner body and the tensioner arm and make sure its within spec. You should be able to reinstall the grenade pin for the hydraulic tensioner. This will indicate that the tensioner pulley has been torqued correctly and there isn't too much tension on the belt.
