1G AWD owners cocky as all hell...

On top of that I find I look down on 90% of the cars out there. One of my friends hates this , he has a 93 R1 FD3S, and he's always on me like how much shit I talk, and how DSM's are crap. And how I dont take care of mine, because I drove it for a lil while with a leaking gaskit from the manifold to turbo and ran a pos engine swapped CRX when my T belt was off. (But still kicked the CRX's ass )


Is it just me or is it most 1g guys?

Eh, every time I see something like an LS1 or a Mustang or something, I always tend to think "What a slow piece of shit," which is strange because I have a lot of respect for both cars. Hell, I'd love to own an LS1. That and the fact that I'm sure one day I'll get slaughtered by one.

I guess you could say it's all awd owners, or all dsmers in general. I always look at cars (especially when I'm driving my parents car or in a friends if mine's down) and say, wow I could smoke that douche right now, especially when they're ripping on the gas in a "supposed-to-be-fast" car...

am a VERY cocky person but for some reason i always downsize what my car is cabiable of. i see ls1 and always thing man hes a big bad v8 there is no way i can hang. then they ALWAYS push me to the point where i break and have to go. i ushally win

I dont think that it is just dsm owners. I agree its more the person, like was already said.

Personally I try and avoid the "Im better or your better" thing all together. It isnt making my car go faster, just my ego get bigger.

Im gonna have to agree with you on this one buddy... Well a close second is gonna have to be the Saleen S7... but who needs one of those when you can have a 2G DSM

#1 place goes to the 97-98 Talon, #2 is gonna be the 99GSX then all the rest of them.

Thats how I see it. All DSM's are good lookin' cars but some better then others.

oh yeah... Im cocky too... Hard not to be when you spend all this money on a car. I think it half has to do with trying to convince myself it's worth it to be broke for a car.

I don't look down on anybody and respect everyone's ride regardless of whether they respect mine or not. I always make it a point to walk around the staging lanes at the track and admire everything out there. That includes a Civic with Home Depot parts or a blown Mustang. I love em all and it doesn't matter to me how fast or slow they are.

It's just a car after all.

I don't know what it is but I just can't stand mustang owners. I don't know if its because the majority of them around here have weld in flows and think their shit don't stink, or the fact that those same ones always only rev at you when they are turning away from you but the whole time you are sitting in traffic around them they don't even look at you. Its funny I hate mustang owners so much because if I ever sold my car I would get a cobra.

i was like that with my 2g, pull up on some mustang and be like "poor guy, what was he thinkin?"

then i too got a GT and hated pulling up on a dsm like "####, i hope he doesnt notice me and itll be even worse if its awd"

then i got the Cobra and i basically only worry about finding someone who actually knows what to do with either a supra or another cobra. or a bike. kinda boring actually, people pull up and rev, and youre like "dude, its a cobra..........." and they turn off.

My friend has a cobra....its nice and all but i just keep thinking wait till my car is done. He left me a comment saying when am i going to see this so my cobra can eat this thing up. I left him one back saying my car isnt red from factory its red so you can notice it passing you while your still worried about what rpm your at.

Now i havent even drove this tsi yet. I baught it and right away started on work. Thats ####. Havent even drove the damn car and claims it can kill a cobra. I have faiith though. My 50 v-trim and supporting mods will take me to were i want to be though.

But seriously Ive always hated Mustang owners, ever since first got my licence to drive Ive always looked for opertunites to smoke one.

I think that Mustang owners are by far the cockest around, way more than any DSM owner could be.

And ofcourse, they can be fast, but usually its the guy with just the K&N fibk and the Flo masters that are the biggest menice to society

All I know is if I reach my goal of 380whp on my E3 setup, will make for one hell of a quick spooling quick accelerating street car.

I stopped wasteing my time running honda's a LONG time ago, which is funny cause I can remember this one that sticks out. Kid had a B16 swap in his 89 CRX and thought he was the shit... well my full weight dsm, with the ignition time at 18* advanced (yea i know thats about 13 to high) and cam's about a tooth of on each (yea i know, shouldn't have ran it hard) well I still whooped his ass .

I just like the feeling of knowing I can beat or atleast hang with these cars that have twice the engine I do and cost 5 times as much as my DSM. Not to mention being able to use my car to make a living delivering pizzas .

I have allways had fast cars. The AWD 2g i have flys and i know it would out perform all (except my last chevelle SS) the cars in my past.
