I just funished putting in my 255 fule pump and wired it with 10ga finaley i am free of fuel cut. However just to make sure i wanted some input to make sure i dont screw anything up. Is 19 lbs on 93 oct too much or what. I dont beat on my car i just get on it once in awhile. I have knock randomley in no specific gears but its like 24 cts for like a second then goes away. I just updated my profile. also i am running like .93v of o2 . also wondering why i might be knocking could it be my maf or what. any input would be really great. thanks

Its just phantom knock. As long as you are not knocking at WOT you will be OK @ 19psi.

actualey that is not true i am nocking at wot but randonley and not every time

I'm having the same problem..I gotta 92 GSX and it will randomly knock..but I get a max of 43 counts. I think i have my knock down to a science...More fuel and retard my timing!! Good luck guys and where in Illinois are you all from...I'm from Island Lake, which is between Crystal lake and Mchenry??

You know that changing the fuel pump won't really do anything about fuel cut, right? It all depends on how much air you're flowing through the MAS.

that is not true at all. i had fuel cut like a mother ###### and when i put in a rewired 255 it went away trust me theres no way it does not help i hit fule cut like 3 times a gear now i dont at all

There must be some other variable involved, then. Fuel cut only happens when the MAS senses too much airflow and sends a signal to the ECU to temporarily cut off the fuel flow. I'm glad it helped your situation, though, whatever the reason was.

Doug's right. The pump is not directly related to fuel cut. If you are running out of fuel and trying to add it with the AFC or otehr airflow signal changing device, then you could hit fuel cut due to the (artificially) high signal sent to the ECU. But this would be an unusual situation. The stock pump might even flow enough at the point of fuel cut. But in theory, it works :) Until this happens to someone, doug's right.
