Is this too much?

Im looking for a front mount intercooler. Im really looking at the Hahn fmic to match my ported fp big 28. With this intercooler and 2.5 inch piping do you guys think it will be too much or should I go with smaller diameter piping?

2.5 piping is perfectly fine

would I run into problems if I put my 2.5 inch upper intercooler piping on now with my stock IC? Like if I got a reducing coupling to fit my stock intercooler?
