Interior fuse box needed, and Questions about them - 1st gen AWD

a couple questions please..
1. are all the 1g dsm's interior fuse box the same or is a AWD different. i have a 91 gsx and need a replacement interior fuse box.
2. is the fuse box replaceable. ie.. all wires connecting to them are snap in and removalable
3. any one have one?

What happen to me is the alternater shorted out and blew the 80amp fuse and at same time caused damage to the fuse box itself, melted a couple of the fuse slots, one specifically was the 30 amp blower, and also haven't found problem source yet but auto shoulder seat belt doesn't move anymore.

yes, when i now what to ask for, don't know if fuse box is the same between years, and between Models, base/GS -t and / or GSX

I would bet there is no difference. I also believe the fuse boxes uses connectors at the back as shown in the service manual so it should be an OK swap-out in difficulty. However, who knows if that will help; there might be melted wires in the harness.

The fuse block under the hood is the same for all turbo models. I believe ABS would be the only option that some 1gs had that others did not.

Without digging too deep, there are three separate part numbers for the 1G interior fuse box / junction block.

1990: MB529454
1991: MB542498
1992-1994: MB839031

The ‘92+ interior fuse box has an additional socket on the front of it connecting to the engine compartment wiring harness and I see four other sockets (B, E, I, and J) with a different terminal pin configuration than the earlier versions. I assume the differences between the 1990 and 1991 versions are in the actual circuitry, a little more work to trace.
