If you are going to be getting a 16g then yes order the J-pipe. And the GM maf option comes with the couplers and clamps for putting in a GM MAF. If you are using the stock maf then you do not need this.

This intercooler won't do a direct fit on my t25 turbo? What would i have to do to fit it? would it be alot of work?

Thanks. So the part where the stock pipe is connected to the 90 degree intercooler pipe connects to the t25 turbo right?

you can get an obx one that goes around the front, im not one to support obx of ebay but theyre cheap and the work, and plus it connects directly to your stock t-25 if thats what your looking for, and easy to install and route, jus my .02 cents :)

I heard good reviews about this kit so i was thinking of gettting it. I'm not sticking with the t25 though. I'm going to upgrade to the big evo 3 16g once summer hits or sooner.

yeah the ssac fmic is a good peice on a budget, to install it its exactly how that link says, itll be a little more restricted but you should be alright question is why are you getting a fmic first LOL?? jw
i would do all other supporting mods firts, fuel, intake, exhaust...etc.. :D

Lol. Along with the fmic, I'm planning to get a boost gauge and boost controller, probably a 190hp walbro fuel pump or a 255hp and a blow off valve for now. Sorry for not updating my profile but the only supporting mods i have is a 3in catback exhaust and act2100 clutch with street disc and fidanza lightweight flywheel, tokico illuminas shock and strut and lowering springs.

oh ok, def the first thing id get is a boost gauge man, could just re wire your pump for now with the 190 and you should be alright for a while, will need an afpr with the 255, new intake to help that turbo breath a lil better, but yeah the stock smic with hard piping should do you good for a while man, unless you plan on making some huge numbers

Would it hurt if I put on a fmic right now so I don't have to get one in the future? LOL Most people say i should get it so thats why I'm considering it. I was thinking of going with the hard piping until my friend just tell me get a cheap intercooler kit. So I'm like why not. I'm also getting the hard piping for the intake too.

no it wont really hurt much performance wise at all really, LOL maybe overheating problems but thats a maybe thing, like i said you can if youd like but the kits on there will always be the same price if not cheaper and you can find used ones all day long for pretty darn cheap :) just saying man, id invest in other go fast parts before that one, thatblondechik has a ssac fmic kit for sale in good condition for 200 w/o shipping, if your interested you should hit her up

I was thinking that the upper and lower hard piping would cost me around 200$ or more so I thought I would just save some time and money in the future and get the fmic.

yeah that is a good point, like i said just hit her up im sure she'll make you a deal, its in good condition too, thats if you want a ''used'' one a bought a full apexi used one for 250 shipped and it was just as good condition as a new one, its just a thought though, saves ya some money

Oh really? It MIGHT cause my car to overheat? ehh now I'm just not too sure if I want to get the fmic now. LOL. I never thought a fmic would cause the car to overheat. :ohdamn: Thanks for the info. :thumb:

yeah its possible LOL it blocks the radiator from getting the proper airflow it needs, but heck you might be fine you never know, its just one of those things, theres things you can do to prevent this of course this is why i say go do other supporting mods first, oh yeah a hard uicp will make a drastic difference, get one of those with a flange for a greddy(1g) bov, and buy you a 1g bov and youll be good to go :thumbs up:
