Innovate motorsports wideband and boost controller gauge

Yea I know Innovate is well reputable but I've never seen one used before. I happen to just pick up another aem wideband considering I've ran them before, I also have a dual gauge pod so I'd rather run a boost and wideband separately to fill it out.

AEM makes a similar digital boost gauge that also controls boost (AEM TruBoost) and it works just fine on car's that I've tuned with it. I'm sure that the Innovate unit operates great even though they added another input for a wideband o2 signal too and it looks like you can dedicate the larger readout to either AFR/PSI as you want.

Doesn't look like a bad piece to be honest but, I'm a fan of Innovate after running AEM stuff the first few years of tuning and being disappointed with it.

A friend of mine runs one on his s13. He's had no issues with it, works just fine. Personally though, I think I'd rather have two separate gauges. The AFR or PSI in the upper corner is a little small at a quick glance.

I am also a big fan of innovate but the question remaining is how is nobody else using and tuning with it, that's why I have my concerns. But accurate boost gauges going up to 40psi (like I need) are few and far between as-is and that is like knocking out 3 in 1 boost gauge, controller and wideband logging ability.

Probably because the price of the gauge is $400. LOL I can buy a used Innovate LC1 WB for ~$100, a mechanical boost gauge for $50, and a MBC for $50 and have the same result for half the price. I can appreciate what that gauge does but look at the platform you're modifying, that gauge is probably popular in the GT-R community.

I like the idea of having a boost controller, boost gauge, WB, and shift light all right there. I use my boost gauge to set boost and then I never look at it again, same with the boost controller because once it's set you're done. The only thing that I continuous check while I'm racing/tuning is the AFR's, which can be displayed on the main part of the gauge and then to top it off you can set it up as a shift light so you're not having to watch RPM's separate from the gauge.

Long story short, it sounds like a good purchase and Innovate products always log well in ECMLink which is a plus.

Thanks for the input Gofer and all I'm glad I finally got some feedback on this device. I found a place to do it for $320 new.
I have a set of autometer c2 gauges but the boost only goes to 30psi. Other analog ones that go higher are hard to read when boosting hard so digi. Is the way to go just to make sure I don't over boost. But I belive the SCG-1 has programable boost cut limits using known A/F ratios. Plus wg duty cycles.
I'll definitely give it a try and maybe get a review up on it logging and accuracy wise but I trust Innovate.... So far
