2G Injectors 2 and 4 no fire

The 96 ECU is not compatible with the CAS you're using. The ECU is not seeing the correct signal alignment between the CAS and CPS that it expects, so it never sees the trigger for those 2 injectors. If you're like me and want to better understand how things work, you can read more about the signal waveforms from the different sensors here.

The 1G and 97+ CAS sensors are interchangeable for the most part, just slight differences in signal quality, but the 95-96 CAS sensors (which were mounted on the opposite side of the intake cam) output a signal that is inverted compared to the others.

Swap in a 97+ ECU, or swap in a 2Ga CAS (difficult), or build a signal inverter.

Keep it up Trilogy, you're almost there! Just puke out 1 more worthless post and you're in to proven member!

Three other things to consider, make sure that the mechanical timing is still correct, make sure there is voltage to all the injector harness plugs, the injectors all ohm out properly and that the injectors all have continuity with the ECU harness plug pins.

Theoretically, swapping the injector plugs or pins around should get you close enough to fire all the injectors at the correct time if the CAS and CPS are already aligned. I'm not sure about how picky the 96 ECUs are on this, but I know swapping pins around on a 2Gb with a 95 EPROM ECU works.

Obviously, if the engine is out of time then the CAS/CPS misalignment can also cause you to only get 2 injectors to fire.

You can also verify that those two injectors aren't firing by loosening that CAS bolts, turning the key to the on position, and rotating the CAS back and forth while holding the injector body to feel if it is clicking open, or if it is not firing/stuck.

Then if you find you do have two bad injectors and it isn't a wiring or sensor issue you might be able to clean them up with either WD40 or Brakleen and a 9 volt battery.
