Okay. So, here's what's going on.

The valve chatter on my car has been solved, replaced the CPS, and the timing is correct to factory specs.

Here is my completed check list.

-Exhaust: done for now, Removed resonator and muffler, I did this to bring the sound of the car back to life. Possibility for a High-flow cat? Is this a recommendation?

-Tires/Rims: 17 inch Motegi's, wrapped around 255's Toyo.

-Lighting: Restored factory headlight lenses, and silverstone light's, Also Red Flexable LED'S around the car.

Turbo: Replaced the the stock turbo with a 20G, Tuned the turbo to same PSI as stock, until I finish the Intake on the car, then will tune up to 16-17 PSI. The stock turbine had alot of shaft play.

Not completed.

Intake: I have a new K&N filter. Being fabricated right now is a custom stainless steel airbox to hide the filter, with an inlet going through the front of the intercooler. My questions regarding making my own intake. The sensor, right behind the airbox, is that the MAF sensor? If so, what should I do, to include it into my custom intake. I could really use advice on this before I got jolly roger on installing it.

Gaskets: I am planning on replacing all gaskets that are reachable by hand, than the others, I will have my mechanic do.

Ignition: Just replaced stock spark plugs with NGK iridium (Spelling) Spark-plugs. Replaced all plug wires with NGK 8MM wires.

Worry's about the car as of right now:

Ball joints.

The top of the block: Where it say's 16v ect ect, Worried the gasket is going bad, as there are traces of oil around the crack.

Oil pressure: Sitting at idle, I watch my oil pressure go from good, down to almost nothing. Could this be caused by a bad sending unit? When I put my foot on the gas, it goes back to were it should be, and when I get under boost, it raises as normal.

Transmission: Does the GSX come stock with about a 1800-2000 Stall on it? The car seems to lag until the RPMS raise.

Sorry if this is alot of questions, but I am new to the DSM world, and I want to do my car right. I'm not looking to make a 11 second car, and I am not looking for 600 BHP car either. I just want a cruiser with a little more under the hood.

You are referring to the valve cover gasket. Those are easy to replace. You can buy one for like 30 bucks at the parts store. As for the oil pressure, that is pretty normal for these cars. Get an aftermarket gauge if you are worried about. I would take those iridium plugs out and throw them in the trash. The oem copper plugs are the best that you can get. The sensor is the maf sensor, it will need to be installed between the filter and intake pipe like it came from the factory. To properly run that 20g you will need bigger injectors, something to tune them with and a bigger fuel pump.

For injector size you really can't go too big as long as they are tuned properly. For the plugs ngk bpr7es is about the best you can get for your application. The ngk wires are good also.

As long as you have a way to tune (don't put injectors in without) nothing is too big for DSMlink or Ecuflash, however, if you plan on using something like an SAFC (I don't recommend at all) 650's are the biggest you can go.

For plugs and your application, get NGK BR6ES plugs gapped at .028. The people at the parts store will ask you why you're buying lawn mower plugs for a 4cyl, but just ignore them.

For the MAF, why not just buy the $30 eBay intake pipe? It comes with the adapter to run the MAF, pipe, and then a crappy filter you can sell to the neighborhood honda. You do not want to silicone the maf to the pipe, that's a horrible idea.
 
Tyeler, Could you possibly link me for the Intake pipe?

I can post some pictures of the filter today.

The airbox will be done by tomorrow.

This is the one I bought for my 98, however, it was only $30 back when I bought it. I know there are cheaper ones on eBay though, you'd just have to look harder than I did. Junk the filter and the blue vacuum lines and you're good to go.

Alright tyeler, I bought the part. Also got new spark plugs, and I bought a new boost gauge.

Can anyone direct me on how to properly install the boost gauge. I know the General concept, run the stock vaccume line into the line with the gauge, I'm just trying to find the best spot to "splice" the lines.

Never mind, I think I have it figured out after studying the instructions.

There is no "stock" boost gauge vacuum line, run a T fitting into the FPR line and then run it to the boost gauge, they're very simple.
 
On the drivers side of the firewall. It's a little black thing attached to thd firewall and there should be 2 of them. It's the one closest to the shock tower and you splice into the vacuum line that goes over the top of it. Should have a blue stripe on the vacuum line.

Just follow the fuel rail to the driver side where you'll see the FPR (fuel pressure regulator) bolted to the fuel rail. It'll have a vacuum line coming off of it that (in stock form) will run to a solenoid on the firewall and that solenoid will have a line run to a fitting on the manifold. Just T into the line coming directly off the manifold to the firewall. Also if you have no emissions and want to delete unnecessary items you can completely remove the solenoid on the firewall from the picture. Just pull the vacuum line off of it and run one from the manifold fitting straight to the FPR itself bypassing the solenoid completely, then T into that line. That's completely up to you though if you want to run it that way.

Okay, I found it. I would like to thank all of you for your great help.

I am going to make a photolog of everything I do to the car. But first i'm going to take some pictures of the car.

Just finished the sparks plugs, now i'm on to the task of install the new boost gauge.
