Im gettin a 98 GSX, so what should i know about it, im new to the turbo scene, so like should i get a FMIC or is a SMIC alright, it has a cat-back exhaust on it but other than that looks bone stock for performance, and if i put new parts on it such as ignition, intake, FMIC will it have to be tuned or will it be ok? Jus throw me some info about your experiences with the GSX

Thanks in Advance :thumb:

Search.

What are your plans for the car. If you plan on keeping it mostly stock the sidemount is fine. If you want 300+ whp i would get a fmic. But theres plenty more mods that should come before that.

do the basic tune-up stuff....new spark plugs and wires, change your air filter (might as well get the k&n filter with mas adapter), and stuff like that. i got my gsx BONE stock, not one thing done to it. FMIC and a full exhaust will give you the most power, but that T25 is gonna get old REALLY quick, so be prepared LOL.
