2G Ignition switch jacked up

Alright, so somebody tried stealing my car and f*cked the whole ignition up. Instead of replacing the costly ignition (where the key goes in) i want to install some sort of (nascar like) setup with a on/off key and a start button. Does anybody know the diagram of which wires control the on/off part and which wires control the actual starting part that i would have to wire to the button to get power to the starter? All help would be wonderful, thanx!

buy a push button start from summit with a kill key and its just power to the button and from the button to the starter. you would have to swap the power accessory and on wires to the key and the grounds also.

I know what im gunna have to put where. Im asking if anyone knows what color coded wires r the power, accessory and so on.

This is for a 1g but it will give you an idea. I would download the 2g electrical manual off here since its free and just look at the ignition circuit.

Keep in mind that the starter relay (which is normally closed) actually disables the starter when activated! If you don't mind losing the clutch pedal position switch and factory theft alarm functions, the easiest thing would be to just remove the starter relay and connect a normally open push button to it's black-red and black-yellow wires.

Alright so i downloaded everything everyone suggested and it does not give me colors of wires. Im looking for what color wires go to the starter which would have to be on a constant switch (ignition) and which are the accessory. Remember im looking for a color code!

You're looking for wires that go directly to the starter from the ignition switch? It's not really that simple, you'll need to learn 2 wiring diagram.

Not wires that go directly to the starter. Alright lets try this again, im seeing if anyone knows what color wires that plug into the ignition cylinder would i have to wire to a on key and a push button to start for it to run.
