Ignition Solutions Plasma Booster??

Has anyone evre used the Ignition Solutions Plasma Booster? You can check it out here:Ignition Solutions

I have heard that Curt Brown used it on his 9 second car and have read lots of magazine reviews on it that seem to like it. It seems to me like it is similar to a MSD-2 without all the bells and whistles. I have yet to locate a fellow DSMer running one though. I am very curious if it actually helps or not.

Any experience or extra information would be greatly appreciated.

Unless your making or plan on making 550+ wheel hp, I wouldnt even bother looking into any ignition parts. All you need are good stock coils, ignitor, a quality set of plug wires, and a new set of properly gapped BPR7 or 8ES's.

To answer your question, No Ive never heard of it.

Ive heard of it, and its suppose to work very well. And priced good too. But will it help you? Probly not. The stock ignition system is more than most will ever need.

Not to sound like a dick, but I am well aware how good our stock ignition system is. Yes I plan on making over 500 whp (don't we all, ). Currently I am running mid 11's at over 126 mph. I am thinking about a 3065 in the near future. I think I am coming to a point where my stock ignition isn't going to be sufficient. I was just curious if this actually works or not. Again, I am not some ricer who just wants some ignition stuff to be cool. I don't mean to come off as a dick, so if I did, I am sorry. Thanks for the help thus far guys.

Yeah, that sounds good. I pretty much have everything right now except the turbo. I currently have a 3052, wanna hit tens then will go to a 3065. I was just curious about the little box because I have never heard of it before. I searched for a while and came up with nothing.

If anyone out there has used one on their high HP DSM feel free to join in.

Curt brown did 9's on it, and a guy i knew from Ohio had used 1, did low 10's, 10.27 i think. Cheaper than the msd dis 2, if you already have a 2 step (keydiver chip etc). Does the trick tho.
