Idle RPM

Whats normal idle RPM? Mine is resting at about 1200ish or so. Is this normal?

It should idle around 750-850. Most cars I've seen tend to idle at like 850-900.

So it's not normal, no, although I have seen much, much worse.

If every thing is working correctly the ECU will use the ISC to maintain a 750 +- 50 RPM idle speed.

Wow, for some wierd reason, my car has just started to idle at 800 RPM's from when it used to surge from 1000 to 1500, hehe, and I thought something else had broken.
