I own a 1990 TSI. it idles really rough and i can hear a wirring sound inside the car that changes pitch with the idle. driving around it is fine but when i stop it will idle rough and shut off. a shop told me it was the ISC which i replaced and it did nothing. then I was told i ned to adjust the BISS, which i did, and it did nothing. the car still idles and dies like nothing i do will ever stop it from doing so. when i insalled the new ISC it ran perfect for a day then went back to running like shit.
