Ideas for fast 420A...minus a turbo!

hey guys...my buddy has a 240sx with an exhaut and injen cai...his fastest run was a 14.7...but from what i'm hearing that was a one time deal only, and he usually runs about 15.4's. he's talked about racing a few times at the track possibly in jan or feb and i'd like to smoke him. the only thing i have is udp, cai, test pipe and at the end of dec beginning of jan i'll have custom exhaust piping and header. even with those mods he'd pull on me! i'm guessing the only mod i could really rely on to beat him is nitrous? and please don't respond with turbo or buy another car that's already fast! haha...i'm gonna read some forums on how hard it'd be to install. if any of ya'll especially gsgoinfast could let me know what ya went through i'd appreciate it and what kind should i look into? and when i goto the track i think it'd be best if i ran a few times considering it'll be my first. and if i was to use my nitrous when should i use it?

if you want to beat him by then, nitrous is your answer. heres my install guide. http://dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=130336 Zex is better for you if your new to nitrous like i was, while if you think you can handle it i would go with NX. go for it in first gear. your tires will chirp a bit but you get the best acceleration there. oh yea, dont mount the bottle how i did, mount it on the metal fram thats under the plastic right behind the seats. also, mount the smart box, if you go with Zex, on a metal surface. you wont pass tech at the track if you do it like i did, i gotta fix it.

hey guys...i don't have time to search the forums even though everything i need to know is prolly here. but how hard would it be to do a 4G63 conversion. my mechanic has a junk yard, and this guy is bringing this gst down that he bought totalled and he wants money out of it, but the engine, ecu, wiring, exhaust and all is there! the mechanic is kinda enthusiastic about doin this project. I was just curious what the hardest part was in this conversion and etc...i'll keep ya'll posted. i'm suppose to call tomo and find out for sure about prices and what's up!

yeah so i'm about to answer my own question to...i just got home and had time to find a few forums. yeah i change my mind....i found one forum sayin how you had to mess with your dash, u have to reposition your tranny and everything on the 4g63 is opposite to the 420A...screw a whole bunch of that! i might just take the stuff off the gst to turbo my 420a...downpipe, manifold, turbo, catbcak, is there anything else? i'll prolly need an external wastegate and the fuel pump....then i'll need custom piping, and bov. what else?

hey guys...i'm gettin ready to order some parts. but my bro is wanting to get me an msd blaster 2 coil from auto zone....will that work with my car? just curious...and if he did buy it would i have to buy anything else for it to work for my eclipse?
