AFX ECU for a 420a TURBO

i have 1997 eclipse turbo i just want to know if this will give me any performance i ask the guy see if the AFX ecu will work on my car even if my car was boosted because i have heard that the AFX ecu was really good if your car was NA but i just want to know if the AFX will help with my perfomance even if my car is boosted because this us what the guy told me

"Hi, yes it will work on your car, but you will need to retard the timing with an MSD if you are boosted. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks"

I think there only for the NA. Thats what ive heard, though someone else may be able to give you a better detail onit.

AFX ECU is an NA application. Doesn't make sense to buy it THEN buy something to offset the reason you are buying it (the msd ignition retard plus you will need to adjust fuel). You are better off just buying the msd and allowing for ignition adjustment.

BUT if you are going that far, you may as well just buy the MSnS. That allows you to adjust everything.
