My SRS light is on constantly. I decided to disconnect the battery (negative cable). I then waited a day and unplugged the SRS ECU and plugged it back in. I doubt this will fix my light but it's worth a shot.
Just to be sure, I'm okay to reconnect the battery, aren't I? I didn't trip some SRS emergency timer or anything and the airbags will blow when I reconnect? Just want to be sure.

. The SRS light came on after doing a head gasket change. I don't think it's related though. The impact sensors in a 99 are all in the module, I believe.
