Hey guys, I am so damn pissed of at myself. I was going for the free mod where you disconnect the clutch plug under the dash and I couldn't get the plug off so I cut off green and black wires connected to a white plug and now my car won't crank!

I tried to twist the wires back together then electrical taping them together but still the same problem. At first I was working on the cruise control plug then I ended up breaking it. It still started after but no cruise control. Then I saw a white plug with green and black wires just the guys said in the tech/DIY area, I didn't disconnect it but I ended up cutting it.

Please Help!

If you cut the wires both at the same time you probably blew some fuse somewhere. Check all your fuses.

Are you sure the instructions to cut the black and green wires apply to 2G's as well as 1G's?

The instructions were not to cut only unplug. I only got inpatient and cut the damn things. Which fuse box should I look at? The one under the dash or in the engine bay?

Guys please help me! My car won't crank at all! Before I did any of this, I replaced the clutch and it always had this problem where I really had to step on the clutch pedal to crank the car.
I have been trying that and I cant hear the starter click or anything anymore.

I would check your starter or the starter solenoid. If it always has this problem, even before you did the clutch "cut" mod (not literally), then the problem lies elswhere. You said you resoldered the wires back, and then taped them up right? Well, that solves that problem right there, then the problem lies somwhere else. Retrace your steps, pin point your systems, and you will find it.

Well, I didn't solder the wires I just twisted them together to have contact then I taped them. I will check out the starter area. Thanks a lot!

Fix the wires you cut with proper connectors and then try it. At least you will eliminate that thought. Then worry about the free mod when you fix the problem.

You should re-connect those wires to each other properly as mopardwh suggested. The clutch switch only creates a connection between the two wires when the clutch is pressed. If that does not fix it, you should check the fuses. Take a test light and check both terminals on the tops of every fuse. If you find one that has power on one side and not the other, you've found a blown one.

oi! I don't have a test light. I think I am going to take the 2 black block fuses out from the bottom of the dashboard and bring it to kragens then just replace them because if I took out the plug thats for the clutch when it's depressed that means I should start the car anyway, So I guess it all points to a blown fuse.

Those are probably not fuses but relays. You very well may have blown a relay somwhere. To check them, pry them out of their sockets and look for fresh liquid coming from inside of them, or obvious burns/damage.

I give up for today. When I was adjusting the clutch pedal, it came apart and I ended up bending the rod..today was supposed to be a damn 1 minute unplug and done which ended up me messing up the damn clutch pedal and not having the car start.

Definitely. I've been doing electrical work for over 10 years now. If you cut a wire like that and add electricity to it, you will blow a fuse or trip a breaker somewhere. But since there isn't any breakers in our cars, then it must be a fuse. Make sure to use a flashlight when looking at the fuses under the drivers side dash. Point it straight into each fuse so you can clearly see if it is broken or not. Just using the naked eye is not good enough. You should also wire nut, and electrical tape that connection you cut. Don't just tape it.

Where would be another fuse under the dash? I only found one in the harness that was a I think 5 rating fuse? Then there was the fuse box under the dash and in the engine bay. I checked all of them! There must be some hidden ones somewhere.

Please Direct me!

okay, you said nothing happens when you turn the key? Thats a symptom of the interlock switch for sure. You said you hooked up the wires the way you found them, were you pushing the clutch in when trying to start the car after re hooking the wires up? Even if the wires were backwards it won't matter since its a simple switch.
