So yea. Talked to STM about getting a line kit but the can't get the -an to metric line for the fuel filter. So we did something better. We got a fuelab inline filter 6 -an filter with 14 feet of line and the feed kit to the rail. Awesome guy to work with and a great deal. He said it will be up for everyone to get shortly. And i will post pictures up when i get it in the mail. I hope i get it soon!!!!

Hmmm.. I've been working on the same thing, guess now there will be two of us offering it up in the near future, Fuel lab filter and all.

Can't wait to see pics, hopefully the one i'm working on will be different enough to not look like a copy or anything, but then again, it is just braided line an AN fittings.

Interesting, I have been thinking about ordering some ss line in bulk so I could make my own lately but this may just be the way to go. Hope they can get a good price on this stuff.

Im not sure if i can post it up but im sure you guys know that Slowboy sells this similar kit for 100 bucks. The fuel lab in line is 82, and a feed kit is 69 for stainless. Thats 250 bucks plus shipping at most places. I got it shipped for under 200.

Damn I got a kit from Import Evolution with a gauge adapter on mine. Cost me $148 shipped. A shame I can't get the stupid fuel filter off the hard line.

Damn is right. They will sell a bunch of these kits as soon as they get them up because its something you want to do. I can't wait til i get mine. HURRY UP STM. HAHA. BTW, the import evolution is 130 some and that goes from the rail to the inline filter and thats about it. I got all the -an hose and fitting for the pump for 195 shipped.

James :laser::talon:

Thanks for taking the time to call and ask about this. It should ship tomorrow.

It's actually $117 for the filter, line, and fitting from rail to hard line. Add a bit more for the gauge.

Emery, will there be a kit for unfortunate people like me who got a feed line kit and would like to convert their hard lines to SS braided?

I will post pics of in the box to when i put it one. I want to do a write up for it. Im sure emery will work something out for you. He was kind enough to help me.

I got the fuel stuff yesterday. I will be going out to ohio in first week of august. I will put it on then and take pics. The pic in the STM thread is my setup. so thats what it looks like in teh box. haha

How and where does the SS line tie into the factory pump hanger? Or does it bolt to the first 2 feet or so of hardline that comes from the hanger? (the place you have to un-bolt it to change pumps on a 2g)

Honestly, i dont know how to answer that correctly. If i were to guess, the SS line would just float until it gets to the bottom frame of the car. The factory hanger but i got 6 or 7 hangers for the SS line which is plenty.

What i meant is how does it connect to the existing system/lines? Not how it's mounted, maybe i worded it wrong.. But do you have to drill adn tap a fitting in your pump hanger or does it have an adapter like the fuel lav filter kit comes with to convert from M14 thread to AN thread?

Just FYI if you want to use the stock fuel filter bracket you can make the fuelab filter fit into it with a few turns of electrical tape around it. Worked nice for me, I just flipped the filter sideways and only connected one bolt on the bracket. Was alot easier than tapping new holes for the nice bracket the fuelab filter comes with

Oh. Its just a single 6 -an fitting out of the pump door.

There's a flaw to this kit. If anybody has ever changed a fuel pump, they would know they loosen the fitting underneath the car instead of at the fuel pump assembly mainly because the line coming out the assembly is very very easy to snap off. I have tried just now to loosen that fitting a second time and it's still a no go. I bent the line too a bit. I dare not risk it otherwise I'll be stuck with a down car till I get a new assembly. My suggestion is to start the line underneath the car. I looked and the hard line is a flare fitting. I'd suggest a fitting like this.
Import Evolution

The straight cut end will fit perfectly to the line I believe, but I'd add a copper washer or two to make sure it doesn't leak. The other option is to take the whole fuel pump assembly out which is a pain especially if you rewired the fuel pump. For me anyway, since I had to stuff the relay underneath. That way, when you're attempting to loosen the fitting, the stress is not placed on the line that's coming out of the assembly.

The Import Evolution feed kit comes with 2 crush washer for that fitting ;)

Here you go boys and girls. Installed and ready for testing. Took me from 12-now. Lots creative thinking, planning, measuring, and elbow grease. I opted to take the whole fuel line out. Btw, I tried to break the fuel filter loose from the tubing...snapped the tubing. That filter is welded to the line. Haven't ran it yet. Still debating if I should get out the rear motor mount to insert the Prothanes. For now I'm on break but night is coming so I better decide quick. :)

I decided not to use the screws I asked for. Instead I modified the brackets by grinding the inside down to accommodate the 12mm bolts that held the lines. It's a much cleaner install and no drilling into the chassis required. I also used a straight cut-AN flare adapter on the fuel pump. It has two copper washers in between. Hopefully it'll hold. I feel like a heart surgeon who just performed a delicate operation.

I used the Import Evolution feed line kit that I bought earlier. Trick Flow fuel filter with 40 micron filter, Marshall fuel gauge, and Summit Racing AN fittings. I opted for the gauge adapter because I feel it's better to keep track of fuel pressure before and after the rail. If one gauge fails, I still have the other. Plus, I might in the future, get an electronic fuel pressure gauge for inside the car, in which case I'll take the current one out and hook the new one in.

*edit*
She runs like a champ. There was a leak at the swivel first but I corrected it by tightening it down some more. The battery unfortunately hits the gauge. I might have to move it slightly or get a smaller battery. The adapter fitting at the fuel pump does not leak. Everything looks to be running good. After I ziptie the line up I'm going to go for a test drive.
