Benefits from STM tank to rail kit?

If you need volume of fuel the twin hanger is the way to go. The way I look at it with an inline you can still only get so much fuel through the single 1/8" outlet of the intank pump. It'll bump pressure and probably flow a little more, but can't imagine it would out perform a 400 by much. Have never really tested an inline setup so thats some speculation and some common sense.

This has definitely been an eye opener.. I'm happy to see other people's opinions on the dual pump product. Do you ever see yourself upgrading to -8 eviltsi? Would this at all affect fuel economy if I were to go with -8 as opposed to -6?

There will be no difference in economy at all. I can't afford my 500hp dsm more less an 800hp one so no I dont see any reason for me to ever upgrade to a -8.

-6 is just going to be a whole lot easier for you and it will suit all your needs which I why I recommended it.

Thanks for the reply eviltsi. Well if it'll suit all my needs and be easier then I can't see why I wouldn't go -6 AN. How would it be easier as opposed to -8 AN? Is it cause it'll be easier with installation?

Yes, the -8 isnt really a bolt on deal with the stock sending unit.

I'm not sure what happened to mine whether it had a jack snag it or what but I got a bunch of leaks, maybe it was the jacks, the crappy fuel we had for awhile or just not good quality but I replaced all the fittings plus the line 3 years later and welded the -an bung onto the pump assembly and I've never been happier with it since then.

I didn't "need" it but it made things a long easier than trying to fit everything together during the swap

I made my dyno numbers with an intank feeding an inline on a stock hanger and -6 hose. No issues flowing 90 PSI fuel pressure and I still had pump left over. It's definitely the easiest and cheapest way to run two pumps.

I am not running the STM kit but i am running the FFWD kit witch is all steel braided -6an fittings fuel lab fuel filter 1g rail with FPR. I can say from experience i noticed lower IDC's with the upgrade i am also running a walbro 255.
