Hydraulic ebrake with aftermarket rear calipers

I always try to make things legal so if law enforcement wants to make a fool of themselves they can.
Has anyone used a Hydraulic ebrake with a lock to keep the their cars Street legal?
I know all states are different (and some verifiably sketchy) but I do think it is essential.

its not legally required to have hydraulic hand brakes. they can be stronger but not always! its doable but does require a full line replacement with custom lines and such, if you are serious on this you will need to read up on the best approach for you and your needs.

You could just install a line lock to lock all brakes when the car is parked.

No DSM has a hydraulic ebrake from the factory so installing one wouldn't of itself make the car street legal.

Given that fact, what is it your really trying to do?

Yes I have. I have Evo rear calipers on my 1g. I installed a 90 degree shut off valve in line. It won't hold line pressure for days but it will for a while, enough to keep my car from rolling.

I installed a PBR 96 Corvette caliper with a 12 inch 96 Corvette rotor. It has a bult in E brake. I think I did a writeup a few years ago here.
