my car is a 95 gsx im putting a 6 bolt block with a 99 2g head im gonna be using dsmlink with 95 ecu to tune with how do i make this work with all the wiring? do i need a 6 bolt swap harness? should i use the 99 wire harness and ecu? im really confused on doing this and dont know what to get

If you are going to use the 95 ECU and DSMLink like you said, I don't think you'll need the 99 ECU. From what I've read, you can disable the crank angle sensor so you just need to wire up the CAM sensor like usual. I would use the 99 harness due to the CAM sensor being different from the 95-96 to the 97-99 cars.

with that being said. could i use the 99 wire harness with my 95 eprom ecu? or do i have to use my 99 reflashable ecu?

You should be able to use the 95 harness with the 99 ECU and vise versa. I plan on throwing my 99 ECU in the 95 I just picked up. I asked Ceddy and he said it should plug right in. He's the flashable ECU guru so that's good enough for me.

you can use the ecu 1995 with dsm link and because you use 2g head you don't need change nothing with the harness, only you have to do is conect the crank and cam sensor with CAS sensor from the 1g block

okay then so im gonna use my 99 wire harness and my 95 eprom with dsmlink on my 6 bolt with a 99 head.

All harnesses are the same for the 2g. The head stud holes need to be bored out a mm to compensate for the larger studs the 6 bolt block uses.

Aside from the timing side, everything else is 2g components minus the 1g CAS.

You guys are half right. The 2g head physically fits right over the 6 bolt block, even without drilling the head. I drilled mine anyway for good measure. However, NONE of the 2g timing components can be used as the 6bolt block does not have the crank sensor. You're going to have to wire in a 1g CAS and set the dsmlink to invert the signal.

EDIT: My bad guys. I need more coffee. You guys all said what I just said. haha
