how to get evo 8 motor to 400-500 hp

If you have no clue about the engine and getting the most power out of it then don't even attempt to do the swap.

well to be honest im not exactly sure which model it is...... but i do know that it has the 420a motor in is, which means that the evo 8 motor will bolt rite up with no motor mount mods........

The evo engine lines up pretty closely with the 420a motor mounts guys. Its been done a fair few times now. But it is basically one of those things "if you have to ask, you won't succeed"

I have an evo 4 engine i bought hoping to put it in my 95 gst but it was easier to rebuild my stock engine than to put the evo engine in. Is it worth trying to put the engine in a 2g eclipse or should i look for an evo shell??

Don't hate on him not everyone can afford a evo. Maybe cheaper to build a 6 or 7 bolt motor and make good horsepower,but good luck on the build I hope you get everything to fit...

Put some NOS on it that will get you 500hp, but becareful not to blow the welds on the cast intake manifold.

I knew a guy who had e85 272's and e85 in an evo..On 27 psi it made over 400..

you don't need to go through all that for 500hp. you should just oversize everything and spend the money on go fast mods.
