how much boost and what size injectors should i run with this setup?

i have a small 16g turbo, wiseco pistons bored 20 over with 1g rods, 255lph fuel pump, front mount intercooler, ssq bov, aftermarket air/fuel, and boost gauge, and i'm getting in the near future AEM fuel rail, and safc. i am currently building my engine and i wanted to know what all i should do to get the best performance out of my daily driver.

you're SSQ BOV had better be recirculated ... no venting BOV without at least a MAFT

and because you didnt mention what size fuel injectors i said no more than 15 psi ....
oh and invest in a wideband they are so cheap now and days....

if you have big injectors and a safc i would say 18 PSI

*650-680cc are good, especially since you have an SAFC

*Don't bother with the AEM Fuel rail, you will have no use for a bigger fuel rail (80% of the Forum wont)

*Instead, aim for getting an AFPR to help flow that Walbro 255<--and make sure to rewire it for optimum efficiency

*If your currently building the motor, think hard about getting ARP headstuds and possibly an MLS headgasket (depending on how high your goals are/boost aim)

*I'd also invest in some 272/272 style cams, don't bother with 264 (waste IMO)

*And as always... make sure to take care of ALL the maintenance 1st....

With proper tuning/mods, you could do well at 20-25psi

yea, i was wanting to upsize my injectors, thanks dsm_pwr. where can i get a wideband cheap? what size wire should i use on the fuel pump? and yes, i am building my engine now. i have now ran into a problem though. i researched ALOT about 6bolt rods on 2g pistons on a 7bolt crank, BUT i never saw anything about the crank end of the rod is WAY bigger than the slot on the crank itself. can someone please help, can i have them machined to fit? i've already paid and had the piston end of the rod machined and installed the pistons, went to install to the crank and it's a no-go. also, will i have any problems internally for running the 1g rods in the 2g 7bolt? one last thing, anyone know where i can get some injectors, cams, and safc cheap? working on a budget and i need to get my car running(been down for 6 years). sorry for such a long post....

With 650s you should be able to get that turbo flowing at just about any rate you want. Your limitation will be your headstuds if you don't go ARPs or your ability to tune for that much airflow with an AFC. I would really suggest moving to a 98/99 ecu or an evo8 ecu. I know there were some issues with putting those ecus on a 95 but I'm fairly certain they've been worked out at this time. This would give you full control over fuel and timing without having to lie to the computer about airflow.

Good choice on the small16g. The faster spoolup should be a boon and with an SAFC you probably wouldn't get a whole lot of gain from the larger 16g variants.

I didn't see that he had v2. I actually still don't see where he lists it but if he has v2 then that is plenty for what he is doing.

v2 is short for dsmlink v2. dsm_pwr appears to have mistakenly assumed that you had dsmlink. Something to do to wake up the car would be to tune it, as I mentioned before I would suggest an evo8 ecu or a 98/99 dsm ecu.

You wont need an SAFC at all. 98/99 and evo8 ecus are flashable.

Flashable means that you can change the programming in the ecu to manipulate it the way you like including fuel and timing adjustments significantly in excess of what an SAFC could ever hope to do.

is there anyway i can buy one tuned already for my setup? this way i don't have to tune it myself as to the fact that i am a novice, and that i was told that it's possible that the valves could hit my pistons if i don't know how 2 tune properly
