How is my engine shocking me?

I been thinking about this at work all day, I put an external wastegate on and when I touched the exhaust manifold to radiator I got shocked . I do have a battery relocation. here is what I can tell you

4g wire from alternator to battery positive
4g wire to distro block with 2 fuses to fuse box
starter wire is at the end of the 4g wire near distribution block unfused (wire on wire basically)

I think its the starter but would that mean I need a bigger ground strap on my intake manifold? and is there only 2 wires connected to the starter?

also different topic but maybe the same my windows no longer work and my anti-brake light is blinking at me

Check your alt fuse...you might have touched the pos terminal on the alt and blown the fuse.

Don't ground the starter to the intake, ground it to the block. Ever wonder why electric fence wire is aluminum?? I kid, I kid... The capacitor in the starter does carry a very high charge though, so properly grounding it to a ferritic ground would be better.

Ok, is it shocking you when the engine is running or not, or both?

car was shut off at the time. I double checked my fuses they are all good. another symptom though my door ajar light on dash doesnt come on nor do the lights.

cd player works
dash lights work
turn signal works
brake lights work
headlights work
alternator fuse is fine.

Sounds like the engine isn't grounded well enough. I assume that you have the battery ground attached to the body of the car in the rear? If so than you need to take a 4 gauge wire and run it from the firewall to the engine somewhere. Around the starter would be the best.

the rear has 00gauge or just 0gauge connected to the frame in the back. The ground strap looks like it was the original one on the car, its just connected to the intake to firewall. its dark but I only see 2 wires black/red and a small black wire, I disconnected the small black wire doesn't crank.

You need a bigger wire going to the engine than just that little ground going to the firewall.

starter wasnt grounded properly (black/yellow) but I still have no interior lights (rear view mirror), sunroof works, windows still not working. could it be a blown relay under the steering wheel?

There are 2 wires that come from the fuse box that need power. Do you have power going to both?

thank you!!!!!!!!!!! one of my 80amp fuses on the distribution block was fried. I didnt bother checking it since I weather proofed it but that was it! I got my window, lights etc all working now!

Edit: marking resolved and incase anyone else has problem with there block shocking them check the starter ground!
