how hard to replace slave cylinder?

really easy actually. I had the easiest time by removing the line at the accumulator, removing the two 14mm bolts that hold the slave on and removing it. For me, i used speedbleeders in place of the regular bleeder valve. Also, make sure the restrictor is gone in the slave cylinder.

Just bolt it back in, connect your lines, bleed the system, and make any adjustments to the clutch if nessesary.

This vFaq is for a 1g, but still applies.

yeah, did it last night before I saw you post.. pretty easy. what about the restrictor plate? instructions didn't seem to clear, is it inside the rubber boot, that dome that pushes on the rod? just makes the clutch grab quicker huh? too bad I allread put the new one in.

chances are, if you replaced it with non-oem, then the restrictor was never put in the slave cylinder.
