Slave Cylinder

I am replacing my slave today and noticed there is alittle restritor behind hydralic fitting...i was told that was only on 2nd gen cars.....can i take this out.....??????? I dont see how it is helpin anything...the hole is tiny.....anyone...????need quick responce pls..thanx

Since he has a 1G, I don't think he's talking about the same thing. There was a pretty good post by Morphius a while ago talking about what that restrictor in the 1G slave cylinder does here. http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=172431 Hope that gives you the answer you were looking for.
