Ok so my old slave cylinder went bad. The old one had a red cylinder inside and the new one (I think its a Perfection from Advanced Auto) has a silver cylinder. Those are the two observations i made. Well the new one doesnt work correctly so I guess what i am asking is for those of you that have replaced your slave cylinders on your 1g dsms, what have you used? I need a speedy response as I need to get to work tomorrow LOL. Thanks guys

It also seems like the length from the mating surface to the end of the cylinder is different between the two...

It doesnt let me shift...But i read that there is different colored cylinders and that they actually have a meaning. Red is a 3/4" bore size and silver is a 13/16" bore size. I think they said green was 11/16". Anyways, my old one had a red cylinder so i ended up calling everyone and no one has a 3/4" bore size. I ended up ordering a Dorman from rockauto.com and it ended up being 36 bucks after shipping.
