Normally I dont red line my car. And if I do it's from first to 2nd and that's when I dump the clutch and on it!! Does that happen to y'all? Or Is it just my sucky shifting? What can I mess up by grinding gears? But I can grab all The other gears good

*facepalm*

Here's what syncros look like. The little bumps or teeth on the outer edge are called dog teeth and they are what you're grinding when you hear/feel that noise.:notgood: They are made from brass, so they won't take a whole lot of abuse before they're done for.:toobad:

^^ Yeah, otherwise this will be another dsm causality and of course the CAR will get the blame for it.

It's common sense... and hate to say it.. but threads like this make you live up to your screen name. ;)

Why do people drive 15 year old cars like a race car? These are the same people that bi*** about how unreliable their dsm is when it takes a dump on them

The answer to this thread should go without saying, its common sense people. If you're taking your car to redline and it grinds going into gear its obvious there is a problem and whatever that problem is it needs fixed before you continue doing high RPM shifts.
