Just wondering what everyone is doing to hold their hood up, stock prop rod, shocks, nothing I need ideas. What you have tried and what works. Post pics of you want

Could you not use another ball joint as a replacement for the closest fender bolt and nix the bracket altogether? The hood wouldn't open as far if it's already at max rod travel on your setup but.. is there something else preventing such a setup?

The hood lifts need to be balanced for the weight of your hood.
I use a stock hood prop with the lifts with a CF hood for the windy days.
