Get stock ones then retrofit. I have eBay ones the light out is pretty good but the actual housing. Style just doesn't look good

Man people are mean. I'm just trying to get opinions. I have done searching but am afraid to waste money and trying to see who I can get good customer service from.

People aren't mean but if you would have truly searched like you said you did then you would have found plenty of threads regarding HID's, retrofitting, and ebay projectors.

Here are your options.

1) Toss HID's in you stock housings. This will blind other drivers and is illegal although plenty do it. Least desirable option.

2) Buy ebay projector housings. Poor quality product, horrible light output, and they look like shit 9 times out of 10.

3) Retrofit a pair so that you have a quality and good looking projector headlight. This will provide you with better light output and cut off. Drawback is that it will take some effort.

I don't like the whole retrofit idea. I got money. But no time. Haha and don't want to mess something up myself.

It's really easy to retrofit them, only takes a couple hours and looks like it could have come from the factory that way. You will get perfect cutoff and it will light up the road better than any of the other options listed above.

Here is the one from my old car that I will soon be installing in the new one:

I used the morimoto mini h1 kit from theretrofitsource.com and it came with everything needed.

Retrofitting isn't cheap but it's worth the time. HID Projectors > *
Check out the write up I just posted: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/art...fitting-projectors-into-stock-headlights.html

IMO, if you are doing a retro I'd just skip the Mini line of projectors from TRS, sure they are good but there's so much better out there. FX-R is an awesome projector and it's not hard to do.

That's one hell of a write up dude! But I just don't have the time or the patience to do so. Haha
